Hello from Charles and Tina, thank to everyone who has already taken the time to add a review to the site about my book, "Tell It As It Is".
We hope we have opened the doors to many people world wide to join us in discussion about their experiences with autism and to add any interesting moments or fundraising activities so that we can all offer our support.
Just recently I have had the wonderful experience of speaking with Lynn Hart, Head of Events and Community Fundraising for a charity called Autism Speaks.
This charity was formed by Dame Stephanie Shirley, a mother of an autistic child who died unexpecedly in his thirties as a result of an epileptic seizure, who has made it her goal in life to discover just what causes autism. The Charity actually operates both in the United Kingdom and in the United States Of America.
Both Tina, myself and our sons will be joining many others on a sponsered forest walk for Autism Research organised by Autism Speaks UK on Sunday 12th October 2008 at Swinley Forest Bracknell. We are hoping we can either encourage you to attend or if you are not able to come in person perhaps become a sponsor. It could not be easier as you can make your donation on line by following the link below.
