Hi, Just had to contact you. Just finished reading your book and Yes it made me go "WOW". It has had an amazing affect on me. I work in a school for children with SLD and PMLD. 40% of the children who attend are on the more severe end of the autistic spectrum. I am studying autism, and my nephew also has autism, he actually attends the school I work in.

I congratulate you on your heartfelt honesty in your book. Once I finished reading it I phoned my sister in law and told her about the impact it had had on me. It made me think, had I been supportive enough towards her and could I have offered to help her more with my nephew

I work, have two sons, but every evening sit and relax with my husband, my sister in law does not share this luxury. I have offered to look after my nephew once a week so they can enjoy a few hours together as a family, taking their daughter to the cinema or bowling. It is only a little help in the scale of things, but so appreciated by my sister in law and her family. Your book is a must read to all professionals.
